The Simpson Family tradition started back in 1951 when Si Simpson first opened the doors of Simpson Buick in South Gate. In 1962 Si moved the dealership to Downey and a new facility. In 1975 Si's brother Pete continued the Simpson Family tradition after Si passed, followed by Gary Simpson upon Pete's passing. In 1994 David Simpson took the reins after bringing on Oldsmobile, Pontiac and GMC, moving to the current location in Buena Park and becoming Simpson Buick GMC in Buena Park in 1998. In 2011 David opened Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove followed by Simpson Chevrolet in Irvine in 2016 and Simpson Cadillac of Buena Park in 2019.  David is proud to carry on the Simpson Family tradition to all corners of Orange County.
