We have 40,000 miles on our red Acadia. This is the first year GMC made the Acadia larger with the 2.5 Turbo engine.
We love the roominess of this vehicle. Holds 7 passengers comfortably. Behind third row is very spacious and also has a deep compartment for storage that most vehicles dont have
It All Wheel Drive which is great for the Wi snowy winters and we get 28-29 mpg on the hwy, 23-24 around town with the 2.5 turbo engine. Its a bit noisy but only while accelerating. The only drawbacks is these turbos run very hot so I change my oil every 4,000 miles and in the summer I take off the engine hat and use 5w-30 Amsoil then back to 0W-20 and replace hat in winter here in Wi..
Infotainment center is Huge and fun to use but In the beginning using it can be overwhelming.
Great car to drive! Had a recall or 2 and the rear left break light went out and took it to the dealer still under warranty to get the light bulb replaced but found out there is no bulb, the entire unit has to be replaced. Its a $700 part plus labor.
GM fault! There's a glitch in this part they need to fix! Then the R side went out, ugh!
Other than that, the Acadia so far is a nice SUV!…

My wife bought this car a month ago after researching many others. Test drove the Acadia Denali and fell in love. I like all the space it has, but doesn't look and drive like a "big" SUV. The Denali adds a lot of comfort items that you don't necessarily think about. Fun to drive, my favorite feature is the HUD. You don't have took at the GPS, speedometer, nothing. Just look at the road and enjoy the drive. Bravo GMC…
